Event Will Identify Distribution and Manufacturing Strategies for Improved Profitability
ROCKAWAY, NJ: The Advantage Business Media Manufacturing Group has announced the launch of the inaugural Distribution & Manufacturing Profitability Forum, an educational and networking event designed to create a roadmap for industrial companies to improve their top and bottom line. Scheduled for June 9-11 in Rosemont, IL, the event is being presented by Advantage’s IMPO, Industrial Distribution, Manufacturing.net, and Manufacturing Business Technology brands.
Manufacturers, distributors, purchasing, IT, and service organization professionals who attend will learn more about the critical steps associated with accomplishing their goals and gain a competitive advantage while promoting growth within their businesses.
“Global competition, domestic cost pressures, and the need to service customers faster and more effectively all serve as critical reasons manufacturers and distributors must innovate with profitability in mind – especially in an era where margins are tighter than ever,” said Anna Wells, Executive Editor for the Advantage Manufacturing Group. “We’re launching the Profitability Forum to help industrial companies improve their competitive advantage, evaluate new revenue streams, and ultimately, drive higher profits.”
The Distribution & Manufacturing Profitability Forum will focus on winning strategies for industrial companies to get ahead of the pack, including:
- Investing in key technologies, including e-commerce and web marketing strategies
- Improving operational efficiency
- Understanding external factors like consolidation
- Protection from margin-eroding risk, such as counterfeit product liability or supply chain
- Streamlining the purchasing process to cut waste and improve visibility
- Leveraging non-traditional sales channels in order to establish new revenue streams.
The exciting kickoff will feature an exclusive workshop from notable online marketing expert Bob DeStefano, who will teach attendees “How to Build an Online Marketing Machine” to turn website visitors into bona fide sales leads. With a full schedule of workshops and presentations to be delivered by a host of industry experts, and casual events designed to bring manufacturers and distributors together in a networking environment, this event offers a targeted agenda complete with winning strategies for business profitability and success.
